Brief Bio
I make, hack and write about software and electronics. I prefer to avoid any and all use of the labeling phrase "I am," but when pressed I call myself an "interdisciplinary technologist."
My primary interests fall into the categories of ubiquitous computing, artificial intelligence and the new media arts, with emphasis on play, learning and creative expression. Other interests include: Zen Buddhism, obsolete technology, open source software, open source hardware, DIY culture, electronic waste reuse, and the history of early electronic computing.
I have a B.S. in computer science from UCLA and an M.S. in information and computer science from the Arts Computation Engineering program at the University of California, Irvine.
